Chocolate Truffles for Oreo Cookie Fan

I don’t say this is strictly chocolate truffle, but if you are oreo cookie fan, you may enjoy it. I personally use low cal cream cheese, and probably mix cream cheese in the food processor, instead of by hand. As always, try to use organic chocolate for better results (for coating, in this case).

Almond Truffles – Moroccan “Zellige”

This chocolate truffle does not have ‘ganache” at the center, but almond butter, which is coated by chocolate. It is Moroccan “Zellige” style, and it is surely good. If you want to have a bit different flavor in your hand-made chocolate truffles, mix this one in. Everyone will love it. As usual, don’t forget to use organic chocolate for the better taste!

Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle

This is a chocolate truffle dessert, close to a chocolate cake (though much better). As usual, use organic dark chocolate powder for the better result!

Healthy “Chocolate” Truffles

I cannot say this is a traditional chocolate truffle, and probably tastes quite different. However, it can be a great substitute for people who need to avoid butter and cream. As usual, use organic dark chocolate powder for the better result!

Halima’s Chocolate Truffles: No Heavy Cream!

This recipe uses eggs instead of heavy cream. Some mentioned that it makes slightly different texture and flavor, but it looks good to me. Probably it needs to keep in a refrigerator, as it seems softer than truffles made with heavy cream. As usual, use organic dark chocolate for the better result!

Brigadeiro – Brazilian chocolate truffles recipe

Well, this is the easiest chocolate truffles recipe. Someone suggested to use a micro-wave oven instead using a pan on the heat, which make this recipe far more easier, and kids can do it as they are doing the video. I guess that the use of condensed milk is a “Brazilian” (or South American) way. I don’t know how to incorporate organic chocolate into this, but I know there are some organic cocoa drink powder available and you can use that for better result.

MaryJose’s Recipe: Chocolate Truffles

This recipe uses both butter and cream; I may cut the amount of butter a bit. Since she used 70% cacao content chocolate, you may want to reduce the sugar comparing to what she used in the video. And of course, you want to use Organic chocolate instead of the regular chocolate!

Chocolate Truffles with Vanilla Flavor

This one takes longer to make truffles than some other “quick” recipes because it recommends to refrigerate for 3 hrs (I think that this is a good idea, though). Although it adds to vanilla extract to enhance flavor, it also suggests a use of cognac (not for kids!). Again, don’t forget to use organic chocolate for the better results!

French Style Chocolate Truffles

Well, “French” style truffles seem really rich. It has heavy cream and butter. It also take much longer than the other recipes (7-8 hrs). Some suggested a few short cut, such as warming cream first and pour on chocolate, and add butter immediately after creams and chocolate are mixed. Adding water while melting chocolate may not be a good idea… And of course, we need to use organic chocolate!

How to Add Flavor on Chocolate Truffles

This chocolate truffle recipe tells you an easy way to add flavor using boiling heavy cream. It is quite simple. When you garnish the chocolate truffles, you may want to dip the truffles in a melting chocolate one more time before rolling it in coconuts etc. And of course, we want to use organic chocolate instead!
